Welcome to Temple Beth Israel!

Dear friend,

Your health and well-being along with that of our guests, visitors and vendors are of the utmost concern to us. With the situation engendered by the current public health emergency around the country and the world, we want to err on the side of caution.

We have adopted a policy of heightened vigilance, meeting and exceeding the CDC recommendations. Our physical campus is scheduled for frequent disinfection and the products used are now approved for virus and germ eradication. All surfaces are wiped clean; door handles, food preparation surfaces, tabletops and counters, sinks, grab bars. etc.

You will notice new signage around the Temple, urging you to be cautious and to make use of the hand sanitizer in the bathrooms and around the social hall and the offices.

In addition to the preventative measures we have taken measures promoting social distancing. We are cancelling and postponing events through April 15th and keeping a flexible attitude towards rescheduling them.

The Temple is closed until further notice,  however, we encourage you to call if you have questions or concerns (941) 383-3428

THE FOLLOWING EVENTS HAVE BEEN POSTPONED OR CANCELED:

SILL 3/19 – CANCELED FOR REMAINDER OF SEASON

Obviously, we are sad that we have had to cancel so many important Temple events. We tried to put off the decision for as long as possible. However, we are under a religious obligation to protect ourselves and those around us. We cannot risk exposure to this frightening virus any more than necessary. Wash your hands and keep your distance. We hope and pray that we will be able to resume our regular schedule of programs soon.
